Investment options to become a Kapandesal:

All members are subscribed to a minimum of 50 shares at PHP 1,000/share upon membership and shall fully pay its value within 30 months. He/she has the following options to complete his/her 50 shares:

From Pagadian who doesn’t know how to speak Tagalog nor English, she moved to Manila in 2012 to work as Chairman Mel’s house maid. Seeing her potential, she was moved to be one of the Kinula Laundry Shop cashiers. She became a Kapandesal Coop member a year when the cooperative started and from then practiced the cooperative’s motto, “Pray. Work. Serve.” On the same year 2016, she was then promoted as Kapandesal Coop’s Customer Service/In-house Marketing.

From being a caregiver of 6 years at Anawim, she met Chairman Mel last March 2013 and was given a chance to become a scholar and social worker under Carmela Tadeo Foundation Inc. (CTFI). She became one of the very first Kapandesal Coop members and has then participated in the activities. She also practiced the cooperative’s motto, “Pray.Work.Serve.” On the year 2016, she was elected as one of the Board of Directors. On the next year, she will be graduating with a college degree.

From being a house boy and from driving from one boss to another, he was able to become part of the logistics business of the office by driving trucks and delivering cargos. On the year 2016, he was able to become the Officer-In-Charge for the Communal Farming and Agriculture project of Kapandesal Coop in Nueva Ecija.
